Support Brett this Sunday!
One of our morning athletes, Brett H., is in the running for Seattle University’s first annual Mr. SU this Sunday, April 17th.
“The Mr Seattle University program is committed to providing the students of Seattle University with the opportunity to enhance their personal and vocational development through scholarship programs and community service. Contestants compete in fundraising, lifestyle and fitness, talent (lip-syncing battle), on-stage interview, and evening wear.
The competition commences at 5p.m. at the Pigott Auditorium at Seattle University. Doors open at 4:30p.m. Parking is available on site at the Murphy garage off Cherry/James Street.”
A note from Brett:
Hey Foundation CrossFit!
As many of my morning workout friends know, I will be competing in the Mr. Seattle University pageant this Sunday, April 17. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brett and I moved to Seattle about a year ago from North Carolina to attend law school at Seattle University. I chose Seattle because I knew I needed a destination if I was going to go back to school and I had heard lots of great things about Seattle being a beautiful city near many outdoor activities. I’m happy to say Seattle has not disappointed! Joining Foundation CrossFit was one of the first things I did when I got to Seattle and I cannot imagine my move without the friends I have made at Foundation CrossFit.
By winning Mr. Seattle University this year, I will not only have the pride of knowing that I won the first annual Mr. Seattle University, but I will also be awarded a scholarship prize (something no student would ever complain about). Ticket sales make up the largest portion of points towards winning, so if you are looking for an entertaining way to spend your Sunday evening and want to show your support please purchase some tickets on my behalf! Ticket can be purchased here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2518573 for $15 if you enter the promo code mrsupresale before Friday.”
Again, you can purchase a ticket HERE. Tickets are cash only at the door, $20 on the day of the event. If you use the code BEFORE FRIDAY: mrsupresale you can purchase a ticket for $15. You’ll be supporting him by purchasing a ticket under his name (so you don’t HAVE to attend the event on Sunday to support) Brett Harris. Will he do a dance or juggle for the judges? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
